Boodle Fight
A tri-color risograph print of a “boodle fight,” a Filipino military style of eating. A personal project examining the intersection between digital design and analog forms of printing, as well as the seeping of my own cultural background into my practice as a designer.

A modern take on the boodle fight, a Filipino military style of eating, this illustration takes inspiration from vintage Philippine postage stamps, showcasing iconic national elements including sampaguita / Philippine jasmine, mango, bangus / milkfish, fiesta banderitas / flags, and a parol / Christmas lantern.
4 x 5.75 inch tri-color risograph print, edition of 40. Printed in blue, yellow, and fluorescent pink ink on Fedrigoni Old Mill white 250gsm paper.
